The center lies on 5 acres adjacent to the Pap Onditi village.  The center facilities includes a shallow well, septic system, solar electricity, a chicken coup, a dormitory to house 19, water cisterns to collect 30,000 liter of water, a pick-up truck and a home for the Olero family.  The dormitory has a large hall that hosts both center events and village events.

The vision of AGOWCC is purely and practically based on Christian principles and practice, with deep concern for the cause of human deprivation and suffering.  While AGOWCC’s immediate goal is to care for the widows and orphans living at the center, AGOWCC also aims to develop economic and social institutions that will enable individuals, families and groups for fully exploit their potentials and talents based on Biblical principle of Fruition Ref: John 15:16 – 18.

The center is now strongly led by Pastor Olero’s son, Anderson and the team shown below (left to right:  Anderson Olero (Director), John Owaite, Samuel Osano, and Everline Olero.  The center is especially proud of Mr. Osano, who was an orphan raised by the Olero’s and is now a local educator.

Pathways Baptist Church supports the AGOWCC and the Olero Family through the freewill offerings of its members and friends. If you are interested in supporting these ministries, please contact Mark Deuser at mrkdsr@gmail.com or (240) 888-5306 for information.
